- DO NOT BRING SOCCER BALLS

Training will run from 4-6 pm at Westbrook.  Raindate will be Wednesday, August 25th 4-6 pm.  Please check the website to confirm use of the raindate.  Remember as per club rules you must be 12 years old by August 1st in order to ref.

REFEREE TRAINING
TUESDAY, AUGUST 24TH, 2010

 ATTENTION ALL REFS

-Checks for the 2010 Spring season were mailed 6/23/10.  If you haven’t received your check that means I didn’t receive a Self Addressed Stamped  Envelope, and your check is sitting in the famous wooden box at the treasurer’s house.  You can pick it up any time.

-Checks that are not cashed within a 6 month period (and there are ALOT) can still be deposited up to one year.  **please cash them in a timely  manner**

Once again please make sure ALL information is on the ref slip.  Sportsmanship is not being filled out correctly and in some cases not at all.  This information is needed so we can award the teams that deserve it.

We appreciate every ref that steps on the field as we know it can sometimes be a little "difficult".  If we have left you a message, please return our calls even if you are unable to ref that weekend.  We will always schedule you for a future date.

On behalf of Brett Hirx, Laurie Walsh and myself, THANK YOU

Kim Cronin

Referee General Information

Referees are paid once per season, usually a few weeks after the last scheduled play date of that season. All referees must submit a self addressed stamped envelope each season.  Paychecks issued at the end of the season will be mailed home in that envelope. If you do not submit an envelope, arrangements need to be made for you to pick up your check. Remember, all ref slips must be completely filled out and turned in, in order to get credit for that game.  If the concession is closed or you ref at Country Village, slips may be dropped off at Bensen’s House in the EISC box. SASE may be dropped off there as well.

If you cannot make a scheduled game, call the coordinator who assigned the game.  DO NOT CALL another referee to replace you without our knowledge.
